Cottage Style Decorating – Bottles
If you have a window sill or shelf that you need to brighten up, here is a cheap solution. Find beautiful empty bottles of all shapes and sizes you will be delighted with what you can find at garage sales and thrift shops. Fill each bottle with a different colored dyed water (just use food coloring) and display them as a group. This makes for a very pretty picture, especially on a window sill.

Another idea from using your budget found bottles is to dress them up with ribbon, fabric, leaves, flowers, beads, paint, buttons, lace, etc. You will be amazed at what can be done with a plain glass bottle!
